The RYSing Arts Festival is the first Contra Costa County community arts gathering that celebrates the richness of the youth arts community and RYSE partners! This activity-filled event for all ages will honor the visionary young artists who inspire us and the organizations who support, educate, train, and uplift their voices and leadership through the arts.

Let's come together to honor the transformative power of the arts, support our talented youth, and build a beloved community that cherishes their voices and humanity. 

For the last few years, arts organizations have done what they do best. They have continued to use the arts as a means for our individual and collective healing, meaning making, narrative building, and loving connection in a time when we most needed it. To advocate for young people and systems impacted adults; to care for and pay their staff, teaching artists and educators; to support each other in struggle and in hope. Holding space for young artists to heal, cultivate community, and ignite our imaginations to realize new worlds of justice and possibility.

Join us for an evening of music; youth poets and dancers; art activities that include screen printing, tin art, playwriting, and spoken word poetry; and have our artists create personalized caricatures and typewriter poems for your entire family. Food and beverages will be available at no cost, and vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free options will be provided.

This festival is free and open to our full community, all ages are welcome and encouraged.
