Thank you for centering our community’s young leaders and their families.
In completing our RYSE Commons Capital Campaign and activating our expanded campus, we are choosing to direct community donations to the RYSE Youth Emergency Care Fund. With this fund, RYSE is supporting youth members and families with: food and basic supplies (including WiFi), housing (including rent, utilities, and mortgages), health services (primary health, mental health, sexual and reproductive health, maternal and infant health), childcare, decarceration and reentry supports, supports for Transitional Age Youth (TAY), youth in foster care, LGBTQ+ youth, and supports for families and youth experiencing situations of domestic violence, intimate partner violence, or exploitation.
Since its launch in 2020, we have supported over 400 young people with direct financial disbursements. In thinking about the year to come, we hope to sustain this level of support at $200,000, as we are considering other ways RYSE can materially and immediately assist our young people and their families, especially as the impacts of the pandemic continue to unfold.
If you would prefer to mail us a contribution, please send a check payable to RYSE Center to: RYSE Center, 3939 Bissell Avenue, Richmond, CA 94805. Please note in the memo if your donation is for general operating support, RYSE Commons, or the RYSE Youth Emergency Care Fund.
RYSE is also able to accept gifts of stock. Please complete our form and email us with any questions.
