Assemblymember Buffy Wicks and the Healthy Start Coalition invite you to the launch of the Healthy Start Initiative 2.0 (HS2.0). HS2.0 restores and advances the Healthy Start Initiative of 1992-2007 through coordinated, comprehensive, and integrated school-community services and activities to improve the health and wellness of children and families, including: health, dental, and vision care; mental health; family support and parenting education; academic support; health and safety education; domestic violence intervention and prevention; youth development; employment preparation; and more.

HS2.0 builds on the impact and return on investment of the first Initiative by integrating trauma-informed approaches in child and adolescent development, and within the systems of care for children, youth, and their families.

This press event will include remarks from Assemblymember Wicks and Coalition partners. Along with news media outlets, community partners, community members, elected officials, and public agency partners will be attending. We invite you to attend to connect with others, learn more about HS2.0, and show your support for our children and youth.
