RYSE is currently seeking candidates with a passion for social justice and working with youth of color.
The Career Pathways Specialist will provide high quality support to youth in RYSE’s career development program to cultivate job ready young adults (16-24) who need a GED, job skills, and life skills. The CPS is responsible for coordinating the daily activities and schedule of the program and keeping clear and detailed reporting documents.
The Clinical Case Manager will conduct and coordinate trauma-informed, healing-centered case management and group counseling supports for young people in Richmond and West Contra Costa. This includes psycho-social assessments, individual and group counseling, case management, crisis intervention, outreach, linkage to resources, and support/referrals for parents/guardians and families as needed. Supports will be provided onsite at RYSE and community settings, utilizing culturally relevant modalities.
The Education & Justice Tutor is primarily responsible for supporting members who come into the Study Up program for help on various academic subjects. This support includes daily tutoring and exam readiness, including SAT/ACT and finals, and basic job readiness. In addition, the tutor will assist the Education & Justice department with various department tasks.
