The Media, Arts, & Culture Department promotes community healing and social justice by facilitating young people's innovative creation of political, personal, and expressive media and art. We elevate youth voice by providing access to industry-standard media equipment and professional development training in the areas of video production, music, visual arts, and performing arts.

Sample of Programs and Services Offered:
- Digital Storytelling: Members get the full experience of digital storytelling as they explore different forms of video and platforms for telling personal and community stories. All participants in our digital storytelling workshops get training in the full scope of video production from developing story ideas, storyboarding, videography, and editing.
- Drop-In Video Support: Members can schedule individual time with RYSE Video Production staff to receive focused support on personal video projects. Support can be provided in project planning, videography, editing, and exporting to various outlets.
- Project-Based Video Production: Youth who have completed the digital storytelling workshops are provided opportunities to work on a variety of video projects for themselves, their peers, and community clients. Projects include music videos, public service announcements, documentaries, commercials, and narrative films. Paid opportunities exist for certain projects.
