Great food for a good cause – Pizzaiolo, Penrose, and Chez Panisse join with local orgs working for change!
The East Bay fine dining scene joins local community organizations for restaurateur Charlie Hallowell’s third season of the successful Sunday Suppers series. Launched in May 2014, this event now occurs every other month and brings together spectacular food and good company to raise money for a different East Bay organization working on behalf of the community. To date, we have raised over $150K for a number of incredible non-profits. Check out our website at www.sundaysupperseastbay.com!
We’re thrilled to present our third season! Join us November 20th at Penrose to support the amazing work of RYSE Center in Richmond. RYSE Center creates safe spaces grounded in social justice that build youth power for young people to love, learn, educate, heal, and transform lives and communities. Named by the founding youth council, RYSE is not an acronym but a bold call to action inclusive of the many diverse communities that we serve.
Buy tickets now at tinyurl.com/RYSEsuppers! Tickets cost $60 – 100+ sliding scale per person, wine included, for a multi-course, prix-fixe meal. The bar will be open throughout the evening for walk-ins to order drinks.
Charlie and representatives from RYSE will share information about their work, and we will be raising additional funds at the event. All proceeds, after costs, will be donated to RYSE. Signature cocktails and beer may be ordered throughout the night at the cash bar – 100% of the proceeds will also be donated to RYSE.
